1) Some of these things were said to me at orientation for my freshman year. I think they are just bull shiting us into making high school sound like a lot of fun when sometimes its hell.
ReplyDelete2) That there are going to be stupid self centered girls that dont understand what she went threw and only care to believe the rumers that they have been told. Also that if she doesnt get involved with a croud she will still be fine.
some of these things are lies, but depending on the high school most are true. Two truths about high school are .. there is always one person you can relate to in some way. you just have to find them. and the second is be yourself, people are more willing to talk to you when you are yourself. nobody wants to be friends with some one who dosn't tell the truth.
ReplyDelete1.my opinion on these is that some of these lies are true and some arent. i was told some of these lies when i satrted high school at northglenn.
ReplyDelete2. two truths that i would tell her is number 4 and 9. those are basically the 2 truths that are real about high school.
I remember they told us the dress code was going to be enforced. Yeaaa that never happened. Also that your locker combination would be private yea right we chared lockers like 20 people were in one locker lol. But two truths about high school are. #1 If you ditch its going to take you forever to graduate! so don't do it too often, i learned that the hard way. #2 everyone is going to talk sh** at some point so, do your best to ignore them because the court community service ticket and goes on and goes long is not worth it unless you sent that girl to the hospital. Then good job! jk jk Maura!
ReplyDeletei thinki was told some of these things atleast once threw my freshman year. i think some of them are lies. like that you will have enough time to get to your next class, the dress code will be enforced,we are here to help you, guidance counselors are always available to listen. i think these things are lies because for one guidance counselors always seem to be bizzy, your usually always late to your classes, the authority usually wants to get you in trouble not help you and the dress code is never enforced!
ReplyDelete1 truth about high school, there will always be drama and people who talk bad about you.Another truth would be that these are the best years of your life. =)
-.no i never was told any of these things and yes i think that they are lies.
ReplyDelete-.one truth is that high school is a headach & two the poeple here are all haters lol.z.
Most of these I was told at school but i dont think alot of them are lies. From my opinion I think most of these are true. However, two truths I would say that is honestly true about high school is that there will always be childish drama and there will always be people that hate on you and talk about you behind your back.
ReplyDelete1. Wellll... I would have to agree aand dissagree.. Some of them are true and some of them are not lol. Like Your scheadule? you almost never get your classes you want. High school ARE the best years of my life.. EVERYONE KNEW MY LOCKER COMBINATION LOL. i didnt care though. umm ummm you have to sign in for a counselor. their not always their for you to talk to them, our football team sucked.. and i had to run my ass to class all the time.
ReplyDelete2.They really are strict with what you wear.. And that high school is fun.. you Just have to make it fun..
1) no iwasnt told any of these things like the girl above said they were just bull shitting us to make it sound fun but in reality HIGH SCHOOL SUCKS!!!!!!!
ReplyDelete2) The two truths i would teel her is that shes gonna get alot of drama from stupid girls that think thwey are all that and thsat it is going to suck really bad because it is boring...
1) I agree and disagree because they do tell you those rules and some of them are lies and some are not. for instances like when they say that they are here for you but they really arent... they really dont care wheather you graduate or not.
ReplyDelete2) The two truths that i would tell her is that they are really strict with their rules and dress code... you only go through high school once so make it worth you stay and just have fun.
1)I think this is funny it is all bull. When I was a freshemen I was also told all these lies. I strongly believe that these ten statements are false.
ReplyDelete2)Number one, people lie. Adults, kids, friends, parents, and specially boys. Don't believe rumors and you'll be fine. Number two, if you dont do your work you will fail your classes.
#1.No i wasn't told any of these t hings before starting high school. I was told the bad things that also never came true.I think people that hear this before goiing to school shouldn't believe is.
ReplyDelete#2.You will always have to deal with some kind of drama with girls some time in school. And its not as easy as some people make it seem even if your on topo of all your work your going to run into some trouble, but don't give up.NO MATTER WHAT.
. The dress code will be enforced, No smoking is allowed on school grounds, arr the main two they told me witch is a lie at thornton high school they never enforced the dress code and we smoked on school grounds.. .. .. the two things i would tell her was that high school is a a chance to make something of your self and that girls are mean
ReplyDelete1.)I have been told these things, and every one of them are a lie: Teachers are there for you only if they like you. Most of your passing period is taken up by socializing. A half naked chick could walk by the pricipal, and he would stop her only to tell her to put her ID on. Nobody cares if the football team wins the championship except the team and coach. Guidance counselors are there to help when they have time to help. Your schedule is created by requirements. By the end of the year, you'll be sharing your locker with 5 other people. Your years spent in high school will be misrable ones.
ReplyDelete2.) 1. Out of all your friends, only one will be trustworthy.
2. Don't procrastinate over homework. Your school life will be much easier.
1.)I don't remember being told any of these things at the beginning of my freshman year but I think they are the typical things a staff member at a high school will say. I think there is some truth to these things. A lot of high school is what you make it. Your attitude towards high school can make a lot of these ten things true or not.
ReplyDelete2.)I would tell Melinda that keeping your mouth shut is the best way to make it easily through high school. I know that it is at times hard to not speak your mind but with soo many different people and different ideas most of the time I think it helps to keep your thoughts to yourself. I believe that speaking your mind is very important but in high school it can get you into some conflict. I would also tell Melinda to go to class. Leaving is very tempting but it will only get you into trouble and behind in class.
My opinion is that thiz iz right most of theze rules i've heard.More than half of theze are lies...to me!Two truths about theze rulez that i'd tell Melinda would be:No smoking is allowed on school grounds and theze are the Best years of your life!
ReplyDeleteI was told alot of those and some were true and some were not. but most are to make it sound better and easyer but most highschools peaple are jerks.
ReplyDeletethat ppeople are retarted and that most teachers arnt threr to help, they are there to get paid
1)some of those things were told to me once i started high school but they were never followed. i donot know why but it always happens that way!!
ReplyDelete2)ummm.. i would tell melinda that school comes first LMAO
