2. Make a connection to this. Think of a time when you have either succeeded in a task or failed a task and explain why you think that happened.

  1. 1. In hard times, motivation and confidence causes some individuals to prevail while others fail by allowing the hard times to get the best of them and allow themselves to be insecure.

  3. i agree with you because some people shouldnt let that stuff get to them as bad as they do. some people have a bigger reaction then what people expect but its what they do. some people see other people fail and that causes them to fail because they follow what they see.

  4. 1) In hard times all people react diffrent. Some stay positive and learn form the experience and move on, others take the negitive route. They think they wont and they dont. If you stay positive in yourself and keep your selfasteem up, you can pull through and become sucsessful.

2)I ended up not going to school for almost a year. I thought it would be awsome no school, but after awhile i got board and started feeling dumb. so i got myself together and got back in school. I didnt want to end up struggling like most of my family from dropping out.

  5. 1. I think it depends on the person. Some people can deal with hard times and some people cant. Alos, it also depends on how serious hard times are. If there was a death in the family, that might be something harder to get over, compared to a minor car accident.

2.Well, I never let myself fail when it comes to something that can affect my life. I succeed most important things in my life. One thing I have failed to do is change my attitude. I have a bad attitude and it seems hard for me to just. I guess its just cause thats how I am.:P

  7. Rish, I agree with you also. Some people have the confidence to make themselves to prevail while others let the littlest mistakes destroy their confidence and no longer have the strength to overcome the obstacles. :)

  11. I agree with "Sil3ntAsh" some people react differently to hard times and go both ways it really just depends on the person as a whole, not even who you hang out with will change the way you react to hard times.

  15. I absolutely agree with Kharisha. The strength of a person will say a lot about how they will prevail during harder times. I agree that confidence and motivation are a must when dealing with dificult situations because both of these characteristics will give us the strength to keep going rather than let things overcome us or get the best of us.
